The Chevening Scholarships programme for the 2022/2023 cohort is now open for application. It is the UK Government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations. The scholarships offer the opportunity to study for a one-year master’s degree at UK’s leading universities and are awarded to outstanding established or future leaders across a wide range of fields.
The programme provides a unique opportunity for tomorrow’s leaders to build a global network of continuing professional significance and to establish social, cultural, academic, or commercial partnerships with the UK.
For the 2022/23 academic year, two scholarship places are available for Hong Kong. One place is open to applicants who wish to study in any of UK’s universities. We value aspirants from fields such as journalism, human rights, law and humanities. The other, with the generous support from the Aberdeen University Hong Kong Association and Swire Educational Trust, is for those who are considering a master’s degree in one of the 19 specific environmental subjects at the University of Aberdeen.
Applications for the Scholarship can be submitted online at www.chevening.org/apply and the deadline for receipt of applications is 2 November 2021 at 12:00 GMT (midday UK time).
