陈思贤教授是最近透过「人才100」计划加入香港浸会大学（浸大）传理学院的学者，他涉猎的学术领域极为广泛，能够将涵盖政治科学、公共管理、政策研究、社会学、城市研究、文化研究和电影与媒体研究的跨学科知识，应用于多角度思考、阐释论证和批判性分析。陈教授于2021年2月到浸大履新，于电影学院、新闻系和政治及国际关系学系从事教学及研究工作。
陈教授于英国剑桥大学取得社会和政治科学博士学位后在新加坡国立大学 （国大） 开展他的教研生涯。在国大的二十多年间，他曾任教于政治科学学系与大学学者计划，及后担任李光耀公共政策学院的副院长(学术事务)。陈教授是一名屡获殊荣的教育家，他曾获国大颁发最高殊荣—杰出教育者奖；亦曾获选为国大教育学院理事会会长。他互动、体验式和带动社会变革的教学风格备受肯定。
