Mr. Lui, for the past 14 year, is the most awarded TV China news reporter in Hong Kong. His investigative and in depth documentaries on China sensitive issues such as the threat of nuclear testing, human rights violation, “tofu” construction in Sichuan earthquake and plastic surgeries scandal etc. has won him various international and domestic distinguished news awards. Bruce also stands out for persistently seeking the truth via prompting Chinese Government and Party leaders, including the ousted Bo Xila, with bold questions.

Besides, Bruce is also a columnist focusing on contemporary China politics and human rights critics. Before joining HKBU, Bruce was the Principal China Reporter of HK Cable TV for 7 years and prior to that, he was an Anchor and Senior Reporter in Television Broadcasts Limited for another 7 years. Bruce got his MSSc in Global Political Economy from Chinese University of Hong Kong and BSSc (Hons) in Communication, (Chinese Journalism) from HKBU.
